Sophia Whitehouse, M.A., Ed.S.

Sophia is a School Psychologist licensed by the Ohio Board of Psychology and the Ohio Department of Education. She received her Master's Degree and Educational Specialist degree from The Ohio State University. Sophia completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Capital University in Columbus, OH. She has 8 years of experience working in public education with all grade levels and 2 years of experience working in private practice.

Mental health issues that affect learning, such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, poor social skills, behavioral issues, stress management, poor organization skills, learning disabilities, self-esteem issues, and poor "adulting" skills are the most critical issues Sophia evaluates for and/or treats. Her primary services are psychological testing/diagnosis and counseling.

Sophia's specialties include: counseling with adolescent and young adult women (high school through graduate/professional school), working with cognitively gifted youth and young adults, and diagnosis of mental health problems in gifted individuals.

Sophia and her family currently reside in Shawnee Hills, OH. Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and three pugs, practicing mindfulness and yoga, reading, playing video games, and learning new things.
