Annette offers a supportive, safe and collaborative environment and utilizes person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapeutic approaches. Through the use of body, mind and spirit techniques and other research-based methods, Annette supports clients in developing skills that promote greater resiliency. Her current specializations include anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship concerns, ADHD, ASD, behavior modification and trauma. She enjoys working with individuals, couples and families.


Annette’s 26 years of experience in vocational and special education have allowed her to work with youth with disabilities, especially learning disabilities, behavior issues, ASD and ADHD, and she understands how mental health plays a vital role in the learning process. In addition to clinical therapy services, Annette offers educational advocacy to provide support and guidance to families throughout the evaluation process and the development of an appropriate plan (IEP or 504 plan) and she collaboratively and creatively works with the team to ensure your child has what they need to be happy and successful. 

Annette received her undergraduate degree in Human Ecology: Vocational Food Service Education, her Masters in Special Education, and her Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Her previous counseling experiences include community-based services, where she supported individuals and families coping with a wide array of mental health and basic needs concerns and as a clinical mental health therapist in private practice working with youth and adults. 

Annette offers services in person and through teletherapy.
