From preschool through college entry, we help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, learning challenges, behavior concerns, and big life transitions. We offer therapy, comprehensive evaluations, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, with after‑school and telehealth options.

💚 Note for caregivers: For children under 12, the first appointment is with parents/caregivers only so we can understand history, goals, and fit.

In therapy, she focuses on CBT, executive functioning (HOPS), and behavior intervention strategies for anxiety and depression.

Selena welcomes LGBTQ+ and gifted youth and supports anxiety, depression, and identity development. She evaluates ADHD, Learning Disorders (including Dyslexia), Anxiety/Depression, Giftedness, and Intellectual Disabilities. Treatment includes CBT, DBT skills, executive functioning (HOPS), targeted reading interventions, and parent advocacy.

Good fit for: twice‑exceptional learners (2e), emerging identity questions, and families navigating reading services.

Pediatric evaluations: what to expect

Step 1. Parent‑only intake 
History, concerns, school data, and goals.

 

Step 2. Testing
Age‑appropriate measures, observations, rating scales, and interviews. Dyslexia/literacy evaluations include targeted reading assessments.

 

Step 3. Feedback and plan
You receive a plain‑language report with home and school strategies, IEP/504 recommendations, and community resources. We can coordinate with schools on request.

Do you evaluate for ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and giftedness?
Yes. We provide comprehensive evaluations for ages ~2–25 and can support IEP/504 planning.

Do you offer LGBTQ+‑affirming care for youth?
Yes. Several clinicians specialize in LGBTQ+‑affirming, multicultural care.

Can you coordinate with my child’s school?
Yes. With consent, we collaborate with educators and attend meetings when appropriate.

Do you offer telehealth for minors?
Yes, when clinically appropriate and with caregiver consent. Not all clinicians provide telehealth appointments.

Do you accept Medicaid?
No. We currently do not accept Medicaid.

For kids under 12, can we meet first without our child?
Yes. In fact, the first appointment is parent‑only to set goals and reduce pressure on your child.
